Waddle You Up To?

Hi everyone! This is GiGi from The Cricut Bug and I have a card to share.
I used the Penguin-Have A Ball stamp set to create my card.
This is my last wintery themed card for this year because I am SO ready for Spring!

I started this card with a standard A2 card base and added the background mat cut with the Jaded Blossom Card Mat Dies.
I created the background using the Stitched Hexagon Dies cut out of Doodlebug paper and added a big one to the side.
I stamped and colored Penguin with Copic Markers and pop dotted her to the hexagon mat.
To finish, I stamped the sentiment from the Penguin Dress Up stamp set.

I hope you all liked my card for today and thanks for visiting!

Have a great day!

Make a Splash

Hi there!  Nicole here from "teachdanz"  today.  I've got a  project to share with you that I created for our current theme week challenge - "Make a Scene".

I used "Audrina - Make a Splash" as my focal point.  I knew I wanted to create a water scene for her so I used a couple of dies and some masking paper along with several different distress inks to create my beach background.  I added some clear Nuvo drops to give the effect of bubbles in the water.  I also stamped, colored and fussy cut a few extra starfish to add as embellishments.  Lastly I used a scallop rectangle die to cut out my scene layer and then popped it up on some fun foam and glued to my card base.
